Hi guys! Tonight I’d love to introduce you all to a project that is near and dear to my heart. Bring on the Music is a very special collab, that came out of the desire to give a dear friend a very, very special gift. Friends from the digi world joined me in this attempt, and the result was this hugely packed collab grab bag. This is a dream that would not have been possible without everyone, from the awesome designers  who contributed to it to my CT who worked tirelessly to make the beautiful album, dreaming it with me, so a huge thank you to everyone is in order. It’s also a dream that won’t be possible to fulfill unless you guys want to buy the bag, so by all means, go ahead and grab it!

Bring on the Music will be sold in grab bag form for two weeks. The first week (ending on June 8th) will have an introductory price of $5, after which the price of the bag will go up significantly. After June 15th, Bring on the Music will be sold separately as a mega collab kit and its coordinating packs, and it will be retired at the end of the June, so grab it while you can!

Thank you so much for playing everyone, sometimes when I finish a kit there’s a lot of stress involved in all those things that aren’t nearly as fun as designing it – previewing it, naming it, zipping it, uploading it, xcarting it, advertising it, the works – and to have help on a part of the process reminded me of how much fun the whole thing can be with, in the immortal words of the Beatles, a little help from my friends.

I wasn’t entirely happy to stop Serendipity with just a kit, though, so I had to go and make an alpha bundle, and borders, and plastic and plastic glitter styles. An attempt at QPs was also planned but, between the rush of my mother’s 50th birthday party (last night, even though her actual birthday is today) and the fact that I’ll be leaving for a concert in about 2 hours means it won’t be today. Add to that the fact that tomorrow is Mother’s Day here in Portugal, and I don’t think I’ll pull them off this weekend, but you never know!

Well, what do you know, I seem to have taken a liking to huge blog posts coupled with Sunshine Freebie Blog Trains! Today’s theme is Easter, and we’ve lovingly called it Sunrise Sorbet. BUT – there’s always a but, isn’t there? — I’m going to make you suffer through my new collection and my exciting news first! No gorgeous LOs this time around (although I might come back and edit the post with them) because my poor abused CT had no idea this collection was done. I hope they know I love them dearly, even though I’m a scatterbrained idiot!

Anyway, exciting news: I’m guesting this month at SO! Not only that, but it’s the Orchard’s 2nd birthday, and there’s a huge storewide sale of 35% which — you guessed it! — means my new collection, Secret Labyrinth, is even further discounted than usual! I really loved making this one, despite having ran out of time at least 5 different times – scatterbrained idiot, anyone?

Hey guys! I’m really excited to show you my new collab, for loads of reasons. First of all, the name. “What?” I hear you thinking, “She’s got a new collab out and she’s excited about what she named it?? Is she insane?” Well, yes, on both counts. Yes, I’m excited about the name, and yes I’m insane, but they’re entirely unrelated, I promise that my insanity far predates my excitement over the name! Ok, I should really just stop rambling and explain, shouldn’t I? We decided to call the collab Casual Attraction. What’s so special about the name?

Casual Attraction is the name of an awesome band, whose singer, Tiago, just so happen to be one of my closest friends. So this is sort of me sending a wink his way, and also taking the time to let all of you guys know about them. If you’re in the mood for good music, go check them out either on their blog or their facebook fan page and I totally promise you won’t regret it! You can listen to samples on their blog, or even buy the entire album straight from there and have it ready to download in a minute!
